ABOUT US
The Repairist is a repairer of clocks and many other items, we love repairing anything we can. We service and repair clocks, lamps and many other items, old or new, in wood, metal and leather.
My name is Quentin, I am a horologist and passionate about repairing new and old items. As a creative I also enjoy design and reimagining items. I have had a career designing accessories in leather, wood and metal for Luxury Brands. Please see below a selection of the clocks I have repaired and other work examples.

Please note, visits, drop offs and collections are strictly by pre-arranged appointment only, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT SERVICING AND REPAIRING A CLOCK IS AN INVOLVED EXERCISE AND UNARRANGED INTERRUPTIONS CAN DISRUPT A PROCESS. There is now a waiting period of six months to have a clock serviced, although we will always attempt to return an item to its home sooner. If we collect a clock we will always try to get it working in situ first but if it is discovered it needs further work, we will discuss with you what needs to be done.

SERVICES
At The Repairist we service and repair clocks, lamps, antiques and many other items. We absolutely love a challenge and will repair both old and new items, we believe there are far to many items thrown away when they can often be repaired quite easily.

CLOCK SERVICING & REPAIR
Clock servicing takes time and patience (sometimes alot) to get it ticking away again. We will always try to service a clock first but if a new part or parts are needed repairs will take longer and cost more. It doesn't matter whether the clock has financial value or not, we realise that many clocks have a sentimental value and many customers are overwhelmed when they hear a clock chiming once again.
LAMPS - ELECTRICAL
CREATIVITY
We love eclecticism in all forms and especially lamps, we love breathing new life into items that are not performing as they should. We can rewire lamps and other items so they can once again work as they were intended when new.
We also upcycle and sell items. We sell clocks and other items through Q Shop in Hawkhurst, Kent.
